Electronic Journals
University of Greenwich students The University subscribes to a vast number of journals in an electronic format. Many of the subscriptions are available in full-text. To access e-journal subscriptions please use the electronic journal management system Swetswise.
Databases
Databases are an excellent means of keeping abreast of developments in your field of study, and provide either the full text of journal articles or a bibliographic reference and abstract.
A full list of available resources is provided in the databases section of the Library & Computing area in the Student Portal. The most relevant databases for your subject are listed below. You can access these databases on campus or off campus – you must access via the Student Portal at all times. You cannot login to the websites directly.
One of the databases, SwetsWise, functions as a portal service. That is, it effectively includes the content of many of the other databases. Therefore, we would often recommend that you first attempt your search in this database.
If you'd like help in using any of the databases listed, then please see the section Training on this subject guide for details of workshops or to book one-to-one training.
