Indexing and Abstracting Services

You can also start your search using an Indexing and Abstracting Service to find relevant journal article references for your research. A journal index allows you to search journal literature by author, keyword, subject. Please note that journal indexes give you the reference only; they do not give you the full text of an article, although an increasing number of services provide links to full text services where they are available.

Try searching International Bibliography of the Social Sciences, this provides an index to social science literature since 1951. Some references will link you to the full text of an article.
